Ingredients
1/4cupwater
1/4cupsugar
1tspmatcha powder
1egg white
milk of choice
Instructions
Create a simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Simmer and mix often until it becomes a thick simple syrup.
Whisk egg whites until fluffy.
Slowly add simple syrup into the fluffy egg whites until peaks form.
Add in matcha.
Mix together until matcha is combined.
Serve topped on a glass of milk.
Notes
Even though an egg white is used, it does NOT taste like egg. It tastes like matcha meringue (because that is what it is). When you add the hot simple syrup it makes egg whites okay to eat, just like meringue, so don't worry!
